How do you freshen up musty smelling books?

A few weeks ago, a very good friend of mine was able to track down some-books that I have wanted for a very long time. Unfortunately some of them needed to come from a book seller and they have that book sellers shop musty smell. So my question to the world is, how can I freshen them up and get rid of that horrible smell?
