Apartment pest control?

In your question you state that they have asked you to remove all your bedding yet you say that they are touching your bedding. I'm sure they only touch the mattress and box springs to see if there is any sign of bedbugs as this is where they are to be found. If you don't trust your manager or the people that inspect, maybe you should consider moving to an apartment where you would trust them. All apartment managers either do this inspection or pay someone to do it. If they don't, they are not considering your welfare. Every apartment lease I've seen has a section concerning entry by the manager or his agent. They cannot do this unannounced, as they have to give you advance notice You may need to reread your lease/contract. I'll bet it's there.
