How do you get the old, musty, moldy storage smell out of barbie dolls?

So I got this silkstone barbie doll and the previous owner stored this thing in a damp basement or something. It smells horrible - like mold and must and you know that stench of storage - it is disgusting. I have left the box outside for airing for the past week or so but the smell wont go away. So what can I do? I could debox her and washer clothes and her body but her hair is set, I cannot wash that, it will be ruined. So what other options do i have?
