Is this my mucus plug?

so today around 11:30 am i went to the restroom at work, after wiping there was a large amount of thick light yellowish snotty type discharge. I've read that the mucus plug can be around the size of a quarter but this was more like the size of the palm of my hand. I wiped again only to find the same amount of discharge on the paper. after cleaning it all up about 3 wipes total i continued on my daily business. i return to the restroom 2 hours later only to find that the mucus was back. same consistency and amount. is this my mucus plug or should i be going to the doctor? its been doing this all day not small quarter size amounts but rather large palm of my hand amounts. If this isn't my mucus plug what could it possibly be?
