My best friend never washes? how can I tell her politely?

Tell her she is a female and she need to take care of herself properly. Men can get away with not showering for days, woman not so much because we have a different hygiene. Honestly, ask her WHY she does not keep herself clean. I don't understand why someone sane would purposely not want to stay clean. Maybe she has some type of phobia!
